Biomimicry Switzerland is a purpose-driven, nonprofit association. We are based in the Alpine Bio-Region and internationally.

As a team of practitioners with diverse backgrounds we are collaborating together to translate the genius of the natural world into human innovation. We are dedicated to reconnecting people with nature and we are guided by the principle that life creates conditions conducive to Life.

Our mission is to empower people to sustainably emulate biological design strategies for human innovation and problem solving.

For us biomimicry is a way to turn to a research base of 3,8  billion years and find inspiration in it to solve today's challenges and to adjust our actions as humans. 

We envision a sustainable economy where humans, technology and natural systems flow seamlessly together. We want to empower people like you to create nature-inspired solutions for a healthy living planet.
